Barter is the simple concept of trading something you have for something you want…all without cash. Maybe you’ve heard of Kyle MacDonald who started with a red paperclip and traded 14 times to eventually make a trade for a house! Sounds outrageous I know. It’s also the power or barter.
Kyle started out by trading a red paperclip for a fish pen and continued making trades as he went along. A total of 14 trades later, he received a house by barter. He never paid cash for anything involved in the trades. Each time, he got something he wanted. And, each time, someone else got what he or she wanted. It was a win-win for all involved. You might say to yourself “How could someone trade a red paperclip for anything of value?” Well, if someone else wants it, it has value.
You may be wondering how to get involved in the barter business. You could start your own barter exchange or join a barter exchange. Either way, taking advantage of barter for the benefits can begin immediately. Barter can be a profitable business and by starting your own exchange, you’d keep all the profits! Make barter a part of your life and reap the rewards you deserve!
